Damien Faulkner has been Irelands leading International motor racing competitor for the last ten years. The Donegal driver has competed and won in Indy Lights, FIA Sportscars, Porsche Carrera Cup, Formula Palmer Audi, Formula Renault, Formula Ford and Vauxhall Junior and is twice runner-up in the Porrsche Supercup. In addition Damien has competed in British GT's, the Daytona and Dubai 24hr races and the Dallara World Series as well as having acted as a safety car and Doctors car driver at Grand Prix's.

Among Damien's claims to fame is being part of the closest three car finish in motorsport history during his time in Indy lights. Damien came in second of a trio of drivers who crossed the line within 0.001 of a second at the Kansas speedway in July 2001

Up till 2004 Damien drove in occasional Porsche races before signing full time with TEAM SAS for the second half of 2004. Since then Damien has concentrated predominantley on Sportscar racing taking two British titles and finishing second in the Formula One supporting Porsche Supercup in over four seasons.

For 2009 Damien will continue to Drive for Lechner Racing in the Porsche Supercup, while working as a driver coach.
